So how long does it take to plan a wedding? I'm late? But we'll get through it all?
These are always the first questions married couples ask me every time they contact me.
In many years of experience I can tell you that in my opinion the correct time to organize a wedding calmly and without “stressing out boyfriends too much” it's about 8/9 months. With these months available it is possible to make all choices in a thoughtful way, see the different locations, choose the theme of the wedding, the clothes, the wedding favors, the restaurant for refreshments, the photographer, the flowers, the music, ecc…
Remember that starting too close to the date is often risky, so is starting the preparations too early, as we do not yet have the rates for the following year and often all the suppliers are busy with the current season and it is not easy to get quick answers and quotes.
Instead organize the wedding in a very short time? For example in 3 months? Obviously this situation has happened to me several times and my suggestion for a wedding organized in such a short time is to get help from a professional who will be able to best manage critical issues., emergencies and such tight deadlines.
As for me, I have often had very little time to organize a wedding and for myself…. it's the best challenge! However, I must have only one condition: I don't have to be obligated to a specific date; in this way, in fact, I can go and look at the free dates of the chosen location and, doing so, you can often receive wonderful surprises with excellent rates!
It will be fundamental, in this case, have clear ideas straight away, so as to proceed quickly. In fact, if you already have an idea of what you want, we will be able to organize the wedding faster than those who are still undecided. In these cases the initial conversation with the spouses is fundamental for me, so as to propose all suitable suppliers and services, being able to immediately skim and choose only those that are right for us.
My biggest challenge was organizing Silvia and Arber's wedding in just two and a half months, with the bride already in an advanced stage of pregnancy…
For example, finding Silvia's wedding dress was not easy and Arber still had to receive all the missing sacraments. Do you think that the wedding was celebrated on 22 February and I was only contacted on December 8th and in between there were all the Christmas holidays… The dress arrived on 5 January in the atelier and the month of January we worked a lot on everything else, It was an intense but beautiful period and the wedding went perfectly!
