Today I'll tell you a wedding that was truly brilliant and fun, that of Silvia and Michele… and Anita! A wonderful family, with an extraordinary story to tell.
Silvia is Genoese, Michele from Bologna, both are great travellers. In fact they had met in Cuba on a group trip and since then… they never left each other again! To crown the love of this splendid couple, the beautiful daughter named Anita was added.
As, to celebrate both the love for Liguria and for the Caribbean place of their first meeting, we decided to organize the wedding party in Portofino but… Cuban themed obviously!
The civil ceremony was celebrated in Brown Castle in Portofino, a perfect place for a dream wedding. The view of the sea and the village was simply breathtaking, the magical atmosphere, romantic and evocative. We chose elegant and delicate floral decorations, pastel blue and white ed even the sweetest Anita was the protagonist of this very special day, bringing rings to parents and always being close to them.
I organized lunch un brunch da "O Magazin", a delightful little restaurant on the quayside of the port of Portofino, famous for its fish dishes. The restaurant is owned by the same family from which I rent boats for romantic wedding proposals on the sea.
The party continued throughout the day. In the evening we made a quick change of clothes and moved to Nervi, where a sparkling one was waiting for us dinner with Cuban themed party at Blu Marlin in Nervi, an amazing location, of course always on the sea.
The wedding favors? Well they had to be very original and themed, they could only be bottles of excellent Cuban rum labeled with the names of the spouses!
And finally the wedding cake, simply spectacular: three stories, with tropical flower decorations and coconut and passion fruit flavour.
