A super trendy color in weddings: the green

I like to call them green weddings, they are the trend of this year, born abroad and are slowly spreading here too. The theme in green is very appreciated by couples looking for a different context from the marine, which remains in Italy without doubt the most famous.

The green wedding is perfect in a location like a farmhouse, equipped with a large open space, especially the choice if you have the opportunity to make the reception on a lawn or under a porch.

The characteristic of the green wedding is not only the color, but the elements that are combined creating a truly original wedding in contact with nature and flavor a little ‘ rustic’ in particular.
I would like to tell you about the interpretation of the green wedding that I conceived for a couple that will be married this year and that has chosen as a location a wonderful farmhouse in Ovada, in Piedmont. Dinner will be staged on the veranda, with three beautiful imperial wooden tables. In the middle of the table will be set up a festoon created by a lot of green, as long as the table, and enriched with berries, blackberries, wild fruits and a few floral touches.

Between the composition of Green will be alternated with geometric candle holders copper color, of various sizes. Each guest will find in his seat, under each serving dish, a well placed piece of green cloth well folded and well positioned that will descend downwards, it will serve mainly to detach from the wood of the table.

The mice en place will recall the color of the candle holders except the glasses, we chose them in worked glass and all different from each other. Above the napkin will be placed the personalized menu with the placeholder; They were made of wood the names of all the guests, also carved as a souvenir object to leave to the guest.

The rest of the event must follow the common thread, especially the wedding cake that will close the wedding. Of course I will tell you every detail of this wedding later, but I hope to have inspired you to create original outfits for your green wedding.

Ispirazioni per un indimenticabile matrimonio immersi nel verde !

Voglio cominciare questa nuova rubrica parlando di un colore super di tendenza nei matrimoni: il verde.

Mi piace definirli green wedding, sono la tendenza di quest’anno, nati all’estero e pian piano si stanno diffondendo anche qui.

Il tema in verde è molto apprezzato dalle coppie che cercano un contesto diverso da quello marino, che rimane in Italia senza dubbio il più celebre.
Il green wedding è perfetto in una location come un casale o un agriturismo, dotati di un ampio spazio all’aperto, in particolare lo consiglio se si ha la possibilità di fare il ricevimento su un prato o sotto una veranda .
La caratteristica dei green wedding non è solo il colore, ma gli elementi che vengono combinati creando un matrimonio veramente originale a contatto con la natura e dal sapore un po’ rustico.
Gli elementi floreali sono molto semplici creati con tantissimo verde grazie all’utilizzo di diverse tipologia di piante: edera, ulivo, vite, eucalipto, ecc abbinati al legno, ad una mice en place per la tavola in vetro trasparente, candele o portacandele con un tocco di colore.

In particolare, vorrei raccontarvi l’interpretazione del green wedding che ho ideato per una coppia che si sposerà quest’anno e che ha scelto come location un meraviglioso casale ad Ovada, in Piemonte.
La cena sarà allestita nella veranda, con tre bellissimi tavoli imperiali in legno. Al centro del tavolo verrà allestito un festone creato da moltissimo verde, lungo quanto il tavolo, e arricchito da frutti di bosco, more, frutti selvatici e qualche tocco floreale. Tra la composizione di verde verranno alternati dei portacandele geometrici color rame, di varie dimensioni.
Ogni ospite troverà nella propria seduta, sotto ogni piatto da portata, un lembo di stoffa verde ben piegato e ben posizionato che scenderà verso il basso, servirà soprattutto per staccare dal legno del tavolo.
La mice en place richiamerà il colore dei porta candela tranne i bicchieri, li abbiamo scelti in vetro lavorato e tutti diversi l’uno dall’altro.
Sopra il tovagliolo verrà posizionato il menù personalizzato con il segnaposto; sono stati realizzati in legno i nomi di tutti gli invitati, nato anche come oggetto ricordo da lasciare agli ospiti.

Il resto dell’evento deve seguire il filo conduttore , soprattutto la wedding cake che chiuderà il matrimonio.
