Sara and Leo's wedding in Portofino it was certainly one of the most beautiful and particular that I have organized and you will soon know why….Sara and Leo are a Swiss couple but she has Algerian origins and her wedding also wanted to celebrate these origins.
Theirs was an international marriage, because the guests really came from all over the world. The bride and groom have chosen one of the symbolic places of Portofino and Liguria: the wonderful Castello Brown. A truly unique location in the world, with an incredible view of the bay of Portofino and its famous Piazzetta.
It was not easy to coordinate such an important wedding and I have to thank my staff because they really did an incredible job for both floral arrangements of the ceremony, that for the preparation of the refreshments on the terrace of Castello Brown that for all accessories such as menu, little gifts, placeholder, candles, petals for the ceremony… a real coordinated team work that has led to a truly impeccable and perfect result from every point of view. The newlyweds were able to enjoy their most beautiful day in serenity and were truly happy, this is the most important thing for me.
Guests arrived in Portofino by sea, by ferry, in this way they enjoyed the beauty of Portofino to the fullest, the beaches and its incredible sea and have not had any traffic or parking problems (unavoidable in summer). Disembarked in the Piazzetta, they strolled pleasantly up to Castello Brown.
After the ceremony at sunset an aperitif was served and then dinner was served for which we prepared a wonderful imperial table. At the end of the dinner there was a wonderful surprise for all the Guests: the spouses have carried out the change of clothes and the Algerian wedding was celebrated, surrounded by the magical lights of the Castle in the evening.
After the Algerian ceremony, the dancing continued until two in the morning, with all the guests who danced and celebrated our beautiful spouses under the enchanted sky of Portofino.
