Today I tell you about the romantic wedding in Sestri Levante by the sea of Emanuela and Fabio who got married in a truly suggestive location: the former convent of the Annunziata for the ceremony and the renowned Castelli restaurant for the reception.
The former convent of the Annunziata enjoys a truly unique view, on the spectacular Bay of Silence in Sestri Levante. The original convent was built in 1469 by the Dominican fathers, which since 1442 they had placed their base in the Genoese complex of Santa Maria di Castello. The structure is located on the extreme tip of the Sestri Levante peninsula, facing the sea on three sides: two towards the Bay of Silence and one towards the open sea of the Gulf of Tigullio. The beautiful structure after a careful restoration, it is now managed by the Municipality of Sestri Levante and is the venue for major events and ceremonies.
The wedding of Emanuela and Fabio was attended by all the relatives and very original. They are in fact a couple of veterinarians, very animal lovers, e they decided to let their beloved dog wear the wedding rings to whom, well dressed for the occasion, we added a nice ring holder cushion. The emotion was great for everyone when the sweet four-legged friend made his beautiful show perfectly in time with the music that resounded along the aisle.
Since Emanuela is a sunflower lover, these were the undisputed protagonists of the set-up we prepared, combined with a beautiful sugar paper blue. Yellow and blue were therefore the main colors and they went perfectly with the splendid sunny spring day and the blue of the sky and the sea…
The civil ceremony was enriched by the interventions of relatives and our husband Fabio really thrilled all the participants with a very sweet speech on love.
The aperitif was organized in the romantic rose garden of the location, where we waited for the bride and groom who amazed the guests arriving by motorbike, being him a super motorcycle enthusiast.
For dinner, however, we moved into the panoramic terrace of the Castelli restaurant, with a wonderful view of the sea and we concluded with a wonderful tiered cake with sparkling fires to make that moment even more magical.
After dinner we transformed, with lights and music, the interior room of the restaurant in a beautiful ballroom where all the guests were able to dance together with our very happy spouses.
