Today I'll tell you a real story, the marriage of Shiva and Carlo. A truly emotional wedding, with two young beautiful spouses and a romantic location on the sea, a true pearl of Liguria: Santa Margherita Ligure.
The wedding was celebrated on 11 June 2022 in the splendid Villa Durazzo in Santa Margherita Ligure, a desired and long-dreamed wedding since they too, like many spouses, unfortunately they had to postpone their wedding day due to the pandemic.
Carlo and Shiva live in Rome where they met, he has Ligurian origins and has lived for many years in Bogliasco, Shiva has Iranian origins; both of them, however, wanted to marry by the sea, in our wonderful Liguria.
After evaluating various beautiful locations on the sea, I proposed to them the prestigious Villa Durazz0 in Santa Margherita Ligure. Villa Durazzo is a large villa in the heart of Santa Margherita Ligure, built in the 17th century to house a famous noble family: a princely structure, overlooking the sea e surrounded by the greenery of the Romantic Park at Inglese. A location that allows you to organize an unforgettable reception both in the luxurious indoor rooms and in the magnificent large outdoor terraces overlooking the sea.
The first thing I want to talk about is the bride's dress. Designed for her by an Iranian designer, it recalled its origins in soft and light fabrics and in the preciousness of the decorations. A lovely dress, who left the bridegroom and all the envoys open-mouthed.
We coordinated the wedding following the taste of our beautiful spouses and, thanks to the collaboration with Cartadanza, made to realize elegant and particular participations that they resumed the floral motif chosen by the bride and groomi. We have also taken flowers in the menus, with the inclusion of handmade paper roses and delicious bags for wedding favors.
The ceremony of Shiva and Carlo it was exciting and participated by the guests, who had waited two years to celebrate the two young people and wanted to give them words, really moving songs and interventions.
Dinner was one of the most important moments, I did prepare a imperial table of great impact, perfectly illuminated, with sets of fine plates and cutlery, richly decorated with flowers chosen by the bride. Also in this case, the floral decorations resumed the true mood of the wedding: the decoration of her precious dress.
After dinner, it was time to cut the cake, Shiva and Carlo chose a traditional cake with sponge cake, cream and fruit, elegant but above all very good, with the scenic effect that was also guaranteed by a beautiful one coordinated confetti.
After the cake, the dances started! We have prepared a corner disco with live DJ set and all the guests enjoyed it, the bride changed her dress but, also with this second dress, it was really lovelye.
An idea that I proposed and that the spouses and guests really liked was to print the photos of the evening immediately, gift given to the guests at the end of the evening together with the favors.
